Which version should I choose: solar or wired?
Both run on a motor and a remote. The solar version powers itself from an integrated panel, so it needs no wiring at all and retrofits in minutes. The wired version draws from a standard 230V connection and never depends on daylight. Same sizes and colors; the solar version is €500 more per screen.
Will the shade fit my pergola?
The shades come in widths from 3 to 6 m matching the pergola bays, and mount either between two pillars or between the wall and a pillar. The size guide on each product page shows the exact dimensions.
Can I add shades to an existing pergola?
Yes. Both versions retrofit to any Ombra pergola. The solar version needs no wiring, so installation takes minutes per screen.
Warranty & returns
What warranty do you offer on the shades?
A 5-year warranty on the frame and cassette and a 2–5 year warranty on the drive, depending on the version. Returns are accepted within 30 days, uninstalled and in original packaging.
