What is a louvered pergola?
An aluminum structure whose roof is built from rotating louvers. Closed they interlock into a watertight roof; open they let sun and air through. The Mezzo turns them by motor, the Piano by crank.
Do I need a permit to install a pergola?
In many municipalities a pergola is considered a non-permanent structure if it is under a certain size (often around 10 m²), but rules vary significantly. We recommend checking with your local building department before purchase.
Can the pergola be used in the winter?
Yes. While the frame is rust-resistant, we recommend keeping the louvers in a slightly open position (approx. 90°) during heavy snowfalls to prevent excessive weight accumulation and ensure the motor remains functional.

Is the roof 100% waterproof when closed?
Absolutely. When the louvers are fully closed, they interlock to create a watertight seal. The integrated gutter system then channels rainwater down through the internal posts, keeping your patio dry.
What is the wind rating of the aluminum frame?
Our pergolas are tested to withstand wind speeds of up to 100–120 km/h, provided they are properly anchored to a concrete pad or structural deck.
Installation & assembly
Can I install the pergola myself, or do I need a professional?
Our products are designed as ready-to-assemble kits. If you are a confident DIYer, two people can typically complete the installation in 6–8 hours. We recommend hiring a certified electrician for the final motorized hookup.
What type of surface is required for installation?
For maximum stability, the pergola must be mounted on a solid, level surface such as a concrete foundation, reinforced wooden deck, or stone pavers with a concrete base underneath.
Does the kit include all necessary mounting hardware?
Yes, the kit includes heavy-duty expansion bolts for concrete and lag bolts for wood, along with all the specialized tools required for the aluminum frame assembly.
Warranty & returns
What warranty do you offer?
We provide a 5-year structural warranty on the aluminum frame and a 2–5 year warranty on motor and electrical components, depending on the model. Full warranty details are provided at the time of purchase.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is in its original packaging and has not been installed. Due to the size and weight of the pergola, return shipping fees apply.
How are replacement parts handled?
We stock a full range of replacement parts — motors, slats and hardware — in our own warehouse to ensure quick shipping and minimal downtime.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and material faults under normal use conditions. Damage caused by improper installation, extreme weather events, or misuse is not covered.
